Think Of Really Strange Things

I like to think up really strange things. Things like: classless object oriented programming, how to implement SDE, a method for preventing breakage of potato crisps (Pringles), the Squishy theory of the universe, and more.

Web Design

After ditching my job at Boeing, I found a great job doing Web pages. While I certainly don't plan on doing web pages for the rest of my life, it is a fine job for the time being. I'm currently wrapped up in Coldfusion, Javascript, and SQL database stuff. Please see my resume for more information.

Programing

I've been an Amiga programer (nothing commercial) for more years than I care to mention :)

Previous to the Amiga, I had a TI/99, and a Sinclair.

Presently I'm forced to live on a PC both at work and at home, and I am just starting to resume my programming interests.

Hang Out

If you're ever in the Fullerton area, I'm usualy at the Hub Cafe on Harbor and Commonwealth on friday nights.

Musician

I play some classical (acoustic) guitar (though I prefer modern rock over classical tunes).

I have decided that I would prefer to be a singer over anything else, and although I do not sing in the shower, I (attempt) to sing pretty much every song that I hear and like.

I am also working, in a somewhat voyeuristic way, on a music web site: Hand Over Fist which will soon feature local bands from the Orange County (CA) area as well as any other bands what wish to be on the site.

Fiction and Poetry writing

Though my AA degree states "General Studies", it is essentialy an English degree. My major was irrelevant to what I am: a writer. I primarily write stories (short fiction thus far, though I have just embarked on a story that should prove to be novel material), and some poetry. Engineering/Drafting

I was employed as an engineer at McDonnel Douglas, now Boeing, for two years. It was the worst job I've had and I am glad to be out of the business. Though I do enjoy design and engineering in my spare time, like designing/drawing plans for model airplane kits (rubber free-flight scale). These kits will be marketed by JCI (world famous maker of real silver tissue paper and 17 other colours).
